More info: Our hours are typically 8-5, M-F, except during extreme conditions (usually during winter). Our driver salaries are competitive and are paid on a base + commission basis. Commissions are based on sales and territory growth, and safety. Pay is bi-weekly. These are good, long-term positions. Our company is Texas-owned and operated by the same family for over 60 years. Our drivers have a variety of duties in addition to driving their routes and delivering propane. Other important responsibilities include:

-Following the best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading or unloading a truck

- Communicating with dispatchers, drivers and other team members to make deliveries & using GPS when needed.

- Keep track of condition of the truck and report any needed maintenance or repairs. (It is very important for us to keep our trucks in good condition.)

- Meeting delivery deadlines

- Performing basic safety checks on customer propane systems

- Performing basic maintenance on customer propane tanks, such as changing regulators, checking status of cathodic protection (on UG tanks) and painting the tanks

- Must be able to use propane software in truck
