Comprehensive Life Resources is looking for a qualified Registered Nurse to join our Youth Residency in Tacoma WA.

Pearl is one of 5 Children's Long-term Inpatient Programs (CLIP) in the state and we serve youth ages 12-18 who have demonstrated an inability to maintain safety in their home or community.

Function:

• Provide nursing and medical services to the residents of the Children’s Residential Treatment Facility.
• Serves as a member of an organization that welcomes, engages, and serves individuals with complex wellness needs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing and medical services to residents.
• Provide education regarding prescribed medication and medical treatment to residents, families, and staff.
• Document in the progress notes the provision of care and the clinical and behavioral observations of residents, using the electronic health record
• Administer and document medications adhering to state and program guidelines.
• Provide emergency medical care as needed.
• Receive and transcribe medical and medication orders and add medications to the electronic prescribing program

Qualifications:

• All new hires will be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination
• BSN, RN. WA State Registered Nurse. One-year work experience with children and/or adolescents. Experience or knowledge of psychotropic medications. Psychiatric experience, child development, milieu treatment, crisis intervention, and individual, group, and family counseling experience.
• Valid Washington State driver’s license; proof of insurance.

Schedule: We are currently filling positions for all shifts. We may be able to accommodate 12-hour, 10-hour, or weekend double shifts. Days and hours to be determined prior to interview.
