We are seeking a Registered Nurse with a background in Long Term Care to join our team. The successful candidate will join our business development team, and will be responsible for conducting patient assessments, developing care plans and monitoring patients. The successful candidate will also be required to work with our marketing team to create literature related to various issues within long-term care facilities, and will assist in community relations as well as lead occasional seminars.

Responsibilities of our Registered Nurses included but not limited to:

• Monitor for and respond to patient needs.
• Observe, report, and document symptoms in medical records and assist patients with their self-care.
• Periodically review the resident’s written discharge plan. Participate in the updating of the resident’s written discharge plan as required
• Ensure that all nursing service personnel, under your supervision, are following their respective job descriptions
• Chart all accidents/incidents involving the resident. Follow established procedures
• Receive telephone orders from physicians and record on the Physician’s Order Form. Receive fax orders per Facility procedures
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician
• Ensure that an adequate supply of floor stock medications, supplies, and equipment are on hand to meet the nursing needs of the residents. FAX new orders to the Pharmacy

Pay: $34.81 - $41.40 per hour
