Job Description :

Purpose

Provide regulatory support to internal and external customers in accordance with legal requirements and corporate guidelines.


Common Core Responsibilities

  • Perform predefined responsibilities and/or deal with technical/functional problems according to established standards and processes.
    • Maintain service level KPIs.
    • Adhere to regulatory service frameworks.
    • Mastery of business software (BW/Sage/SFDC)


  • Actively participate in department meetings & discussions.
  • Proactively participates in team building events & networking opportunities.
    • Sensory Panel Participation
    • Virtual and In-Person Events
    • Others as the business dictates


  • Advise internal customers regarding regulatory compliance related to creation and research needs & initiatives.
  • Identify regulatory challenges relevant to commercial opportunities and collaborate cross functionally to solve them.
  • Develop and maintain company SOPs.
  • Additional Projects as assigned by Management.


Customer Support

  • Complete and deliver documentation to support internal & external customer requirements.
  • Identify issues relevant to customer opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Obtain thorough knowledge of customer requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiencies with current processes.
  • Deliver support on time, meeting customer expectations
  • Work to provide solutions, rather than just answers

Academic Background

  • University / Bachelor’s Degree in food, biological or physical sciences or relevant field.


Professional Experience Desired

  • 2-4 years of related regulatory experience
  • Solid background in regulatory compliance related to flavors, food, food additives or dietary supplements.
  • Strong relationship skills


Technical Skills

  • Strong interpersonal, leadership and communications skills (both written and verbal)
  • Strong PC skills, including competency in MS Office products
  • Working knowledge of industry and regulatory requirements
  • Basic understanding of components of appropriate business processes and internal systems
  • Basic knowledge of regulatory systems
