Job description

Maragos Painting LLC is a leader in the commercial painting industry serving the NJ and NY metro area. We focus on detail, meeting aggressive deadlines and most importantly, on our customers.

We are looking to fill out an immediate opening for a full time industry experienced Sales Manager for our new repaint division.

You will work closely with our leadership to help build out a strategic sales plan and create actionable and measurable goals. Your immediate goal will be to attract new repaint customers.

You will be given the opportunity to work on special projects and will be encouraged to share your own ideas and projects, even if they are not related to your day-to-day responsibilities.

We will challenge you to find new ways to improve the customer experience we deliver.

Qualifications

  • 8 years of business development experience within the paint/coatings industry
  • At least 3 years of sales management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proven track record of bringing in new business
  • Demonstrated success & consistency in achieving targeted sales goals
  • Thorough understanding of account management and the strategic selling process
  • Exceptional customer relationship management skills
  • Effective self-management
  • Willing to travel throughout the Northeast

Experience:

  • Paint/coatings: 5 years (Preferred)
  • Sales management: 2-5 years (Preferred)
  • Sales: 5-10 years (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • You will work closely with other members of the team to help build out a strategic sales plan and create actionable and measurable goals

  • We will challenge you to find new ways to improve the customer experience we deliver
  • Develop strategic and measurable account plans that produce results
  • Increase sales revenue by actively promoting current products to existing customer base; developing new accounts; developing and launching new products
  • Apply knowledge of customers, industry, and products to achieve objectives
  • Manage the internal activities required to support the target account plans
  • Track, analyze and report on sales performance and activities of key accounts
  • Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with key accounts to secure existing revenue on long-term commitments
  • Manage customers through the product launch process
  • Promptly address any customer satisfaction issues
  • Coordinate closely with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction is maintained and objectives are met

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
