We are looking for a result-driven retail Sales Associate to be responsible for all sales job duties, from generating leads to closing sales. Sales Associate duties and responsibilities include working closely with customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about our products and recommend the right solutions. You should be able to promptly resolve customer complaints and ensure maximum client satisfaction. To be successful as a Sales associate, you should stay up-to-date with product features and maintain our store’s visual appearance in high standards. Ultimately, the duties of a sales associate are to achieve excellent customer service, while consistently meeting the store’s sales goals. Competitive pay based on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Welcome customers’ needs and provide assistance and information on product features
• Assess customers’ needs and provide assistance and information on product features
• Work as a team partner to ensure customer satisfaction and contribute to a positive overall work environment.
• Actively seek out customers in store
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
• Properly operates a cash register and maintains all financial transactions effectively and efficiently
• Ensures regular increase in sales of jewelry products and giftware
• Handle returns of merchandise in a friendly manner
• Consistent and thorough follow-up on client care service matters
• Build productive trust relationships with customers
• Answer phones, keep display areas neat, orderly and clean.
• Comply with inventory control procedures
• Strictly adheres to company policy

Skills

• Proven work experience as a Retail Sales associate, Sales representative or similar role
• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and build customer trust
• Proficiency in English
• Basic Math skills
• Ability to project an approachable and professional image in personal appearance, manner and demeanor.
• Hands-on experience with POS transactions
• Familiarity with inventory procedures
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written: customer service skills and the ability to prioritize while handling multiple tasks is required.
• Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner
• Availability to work flexible shifts
• High school degree; College degree and or 2+ years’ experience a plus but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
