Senior Tax Associate (Public Accounting) JOB SUMMARY:

We are currently looking for a Hybrid Senior Tax associate for our client in San Diego, CA.

Pay is $70K - $90K + Bonus + Yearly Pay increases

• Health, Dental & Vision plans (Firm pays $600/mo towards firm-sponsored plan)
• 401K, generous match (3% - 5%)
• Hardware provided (computer, office supplies, and more)
• IF candidate chooses to be Hybrid - A typical hybrid schedule is 2/3. Two days at home, three days in the office
• 15 PTO days + 12 Paid Holidays + April 16th off + Thanksgiving week off
• A mix of veterans and rookie leadership, willing/wanting to mentor team members

Senior Tax Associate (Public Accounting) Duties:

• Must have CCH Axcess & CCH Engagement experience
• Must have 2+ years of recent and relevant experience in U.S. public accounting
• Prepare federal and state tax returns for corporations, partnerships, trusts, and individuals
• Perform tax research and possess an understanding of IRS tax laws
• Communicate directly with clients regarding their tax matters
• Provide excellent customer service to our diverse clientele

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree and/or Masters's Degree in Accounting or Taxation is required
• Strong compliance and accounting skills

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
