Sensor Engineer Job Summary & Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management and Supplier Development experience with 2- 4 years of relevant experience.

Sensor Engineer Responsibilities

● Engineer and develop sensors used on heavy duty equipment.

● Project Management - work with team to plan, organize and direct work to meet schedules

● Coordinate all activities for technical customers, suppliers, and technicians to speed research of new sensor technologies.

● Create, when necessary, application and design guidelines.

● Troubleshoot failures back to root cause.

● Conduct cross-functional design reviews and document them.

Sensor Engineer Desired Skills

● Sensor experience a plus

● Project management skills

● Basic Electronic Component and Controls Understanding and Capability

● Understanding of the Product Development process (from concept to production)

● Automotive experience and mechanical aptitude

● Good communication skills - both verbal and written

Sensor Engineer Education & Work Experience

BS in Engineering required. Minimum 2 - 4 years’ experience.

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
