We make working at a restaurant fun and enjoyable!

The Sycamore is a local, family owned restaurant in downtown Pittsboro and we are looking to add a host/hostess and server's assistant to our team! You'll be working right alongside our seasoned staff and the owner to serve guests some of the best food around.

Hours of Operation and Pay

No long weeks or nights. Sunday and Monday guaranteed off every week, Tuesday and Wednesday daytime prep days(for kitchen staff), Thursday/Friday/Saturday are dinner service days with service beginning at 5pm and ending at 9pm each evening.

Pay is on a bi-weekly schedule and will be determined based on experience and may exceed what is listed on the job posting.

Servers Assistants wage is $5 per hour plus tips!

Host/ Hostess wage starts at $10 per hour!

What you'll be doing.....

HOST/HOSTESS:

• Greet guests and walk to tables
• Answer phones
• Manage/ Following reservation guidlines

SERVER'S ASSISTANT:

• Help servers with their table by clearing plates, filling water glasses and bringing food out

Skills

• Friendly and personable with guests
• Understanding of food/dishes
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests
• Time management and organization

Pay: $5.00 - $15.00 per hour
