Wellington Estates is an upscale Assisted Living Community located in Spring Lake, New Jersey. Our Culinary Team is dedicated to creating a fine dining experience for our residents and guests. We are currently seeking DINING ROOM SERVERS to join our team! Full-Time hours: 11:30pm – 7:30pm are available.

Some essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Creating an enjoyable dining experience for residents and their guests.
• Familiarity of menu items
• Set and reset tables quickly and accurately according to meal requirements.
• Ensure that all glassware, china and flatware are clean and chip-free.
• Serve residents promptly in an orderly and well-mannered way, following accepted standard meal service routines.
• Bus tables between courses
• Follow proper storage procedures for any food items
• Stock and document supplies to coffee break areas or requesting departments.
• Tally all food items served on menu for final hostess totals.
• Follow all safety and sanitation rules and regulations.
• Possesses the ability to follow instructions, work well with others and maintain a good rapport with residents.
• Wear required uniform and consistently present a clean, professional appearance.
• Demonstrates knowledge of fire safety procedures, and assists with evacuation of residents to a safer location in the event of fire or another emergency.
• Team player
• Identify safety hazards or acute resident problems and promptly inform manager
