Job Description :

Epson, a $10B global leader in high-quality consumer electronics, imaging, and point of sale printing devices, is seeking a Service & Support Specialist to join our Factory Automation Robotics (FAR) team. You will be responsible for providing external and internal customer service activities involving technical support, repair, and maintenance of robotics products via phone, e-mail, and in person. Principal Accountabilities
In addition to the following Epson's policies and procedures, principle accountabilities include, but are not limited to:



Advanced Product Support

  • Performs analysis of post-launch technical product data to ensure product improvement of current and existing product in order to minimize overall customer service costs
  • Provides feedback to management regarding product usability, reliability, and serviceability
  • Ensures a timely response to customer calls
  • Responds directly as well as assist other technical support reps with customer phone calls regarding diagnosis, repair, and general technical advice


Customer Training

  • Assists training department in conducting technical training on use, maintenance, troubleshooting, programming, and repair of robotics products
  • Travels to customer sites both domestically and internationally to conduct on site classes
  • Travels to SEC for first-hand training including but not limited to initial training on robotics product as well ascontinued training on new releases


Tradeshow Support

  • Assists applications department with trade show demo assembly and disassembly, application study set ups, andproduct demonstrations
  • Provides on site support at trade shows both domestically and internationally


Physical Requirements

  • Carry/lift loads of Moderate (20-50 pounds)

What You Will Bring:

  • At least 2+ years of direct customer support experience with exposure to industrial equipment
  • Training experience
  • Completion of program at a community college, technical, or commercial school or equivalent experience (minimum of a 2-year program)

The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $64,125 and $82,985. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
