Position Summary

This position includes driving to Minneapolis/St. Paul or the surrounding metro area to deliver and pick up parts, dies, or supplies for maintenance when needed. Picking up material for plant production from vendors in the metro area as well as delivering electric motors to our metro customers. Deliveries are also occasionally made to customers outside the metro areas. Delivers all McMillan Electric Company scrap and baled cardboard to appropriate locations in the metro area weekly.

Job Responsibilities Include:
Delivers in and outside of the metro area

Makes pallets for Final Assembly and PM Depts

Weighs scrap containers and hauls full containers to the Twin Cities

Loads and unloads trucks at our facility

Transfer and receive material

All other duties assigned

Requirements:
Position requires a Class B, Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) license to operate our 2.5 ton truck

Position is subject to annual physical and random drug screens

Drivers log sheet requires the D.O.T. must be completed and kept up to date

This employee is responsible for service work as required and yearly inspections on the 2.5 ton truck. The 2.5 ton truck must be kept clean and in good repair at all times.
