We are a roofing contracting business located in Jacksonville, Fl. The immediate need is for a Site Manager requires extensive knowledge of the Florida Building Codes and OSHA Safety Standards. A Site Manager must be well organized and able to communicate with builders, homeowners, and internal office staff.

We are searching for a new team member who will help to accelerate our production rate:

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously while meeting quality and production goals. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to recognize opportunities to improve quality, design or efficiency and effectively communicate to appropriate departments.
• The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in project management, building new processes, and optimizing efficiencies.

Core Skills and Required Experience:

• Develop and control production procedures and documentation.
• Management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong computer skills, Bilingual is a plus but not required.
• OSHA/safety in shop environment.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Ability to create and modify production processes for optimal quality and efficiency.
• Conflict resolution, Delegation skills, Coaching/mentoring skills.
• Serve as liaison between clients and various contractors, vendors, restoration companies, etc.
• Maintain required file work, quality standards, project documentation, and deliverables
• Communicate with executive management to ensure deadlines and cost targets are met
• Travel is required as necessary
• This is a salaried position with significant performance incentives.

Ideal candidates exhibit the following attributes and background:

• Experience managing large volume of projects at a time with strong scheduling experience
• Proficient in Xactimate or other estimating software.
• Roofing experience is a must.
• Minimum of three (3) years relevant work experience, specifically within the construction, or insurance property claims industries
• One (1) year Project Management experience (experience should be related to construction management inclusive of: planning and budgeting projects; developing and integrating project management and execution plans; monitoring project work and quality control; and identifying, executing, and managing project close-out activities)
• Some knowledge of commercial roofing systems
• Ability to travel is required - sometimes on short notice and willingness to participate in Production Team

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Interface with clients and project representatives
• Oversee daily construction at custom job sites
• Find solutions to installation issues per each product manufacturer
• Prepare damage assessments and preliminary budgets
• Serve as liaison between clients and various contractors, vendors, restoration companies, etc.
• Prepare/review/track construction submittals
• Update Job Status in CRM
• Perform field inspections and necessary site visits
• Attend pre and post-inspection meetings as well as progress and update meetings with Government officials and Building Department officials
