JOB DUTIES/ KNOWLEDGE:

Knowledge of billing processes to facilitate effective and timely billing.

Attend collection meetings and take appropriate action where required.

AR follow up of all locations.

Understand all payers' billing practices and standards for timely payments.

Reviews, identifies and reports potential payer trends and issues to Billing Manager.

Prepare all requested reports in an organized and timely manner.

Completes work, care and documentation with accuracy within agency time frames.

Sends out collection letters, corrected claims and appeals.

Files and keeps necessary data.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience:

• ICD-10: 1 year (Preferred)
• Coding and Billing Experience
• Collection Experience
• Advanced computer systems knowledge required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.50 per hour
