Why This Job – STAFF ACCOUNTANT:
A high-growth, acquisition-driven, real estate company with a healthcare industry focus. This is a critical role in providing support to the accounting team for the overall company growth. As the Staff Accountant, you will assist with the preparation of monthly journal entries and help assure the company’s financial results are reported accurately and in compliance with the company’s policies, procedures, and accounting principles in adherence to U.S. GAAP.
What You’ll Actually Do:

• Monthly full-cycle journal entries and month-end account reconciliations
• Create financial statements related to monthly corporate close
• Ensure financial reporting adheres to GAAP
• Ensure accurate billing of monthly property management fees as well as other billbacks

To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Knowledge of US GAAP
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

It Would Be Brilliant If You Also Have:

• Experience with Timberline or MRI a plus

Where and How Much:

• $33 to $36 per hour when contracting (depending on experience)
• Opportunity to convert to a full-time employee in 2 to 3 months
• 100% in office - Downtown Denver

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $33.00 - $36.00 per hour
