We are hiring a Staff Accountant to join our growing team.

The Staff Accountant will support the COO in carrying out the responsibilities of the Finance / Accounting Department. This individual will fill a key role within the accounting group. This successful candidate will need to be effective and experienced in the general accounting function.

This position requires the applicant to be located in our Nashville market.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review, verify, post, and pay vendor invoices for each HUB location.
• Reconcile payments through NetSuite to maintain accurate financial records.
• Maintain vendor accounts for timely payments and compliance with internal controls.
• Communicate with suppliers, vendors, and creditors about their payment schedules, outstanding balances, and other various government documents such as W-9's.
• Bank account and credit card reconciliation
• Review of accounts payable

Skills and Abilities Required:

• BS/BA in Accounting; required
• 5-6 years progressively responsible experience in the accounting industry.
• Workers Compensation experience required.
• Thorough understanding of GAAP. Knowledge of Statutory accounting principles.
• Strong analytical and accounting skills.
• Intermediate to advanced experience in MS Office
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of major accounting software packages for general ledger accounting. NetSuite required.
• Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment.
• Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.
