WOW Logistics is now hiring for a Staff Attorney!

WOW Logistics is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented person for this position of Staff Attorney at WOW Logistics. This position will report directly to the Vice President of Legal Affairs.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively draft, negotiate, review, and revise a wide range of agreements, including but not limited to general commercial, vendor, technology, real estate, lease, warehousing, professional services and nondisclosure/confidentiality agreement
• Coordinate and assist in the execution of various business strategies involving tenant relationships and lease arrangements
• Assist in various real estate matters, including but not limited to Commercial Offers to Purchase, mortgages, real estate lending documents, title documents, and/or easements
• Maintain competence in and monitor legal and regulatory compliance with respect to real estate law and landlord-tenant law, and assist the Legal department at WOW Logistics in ensuring the organization is meeting all requirements
• Complete special projects assigned by the VP of Legal Affairs as needed

Qualifications:

• Admitted to practice law in the State of Wisconsin
• 2+ years of commercial or real estate law experience, as in-house counsel or in a high-quality law firm
• Broad legal background, with strengths and expertise in commercial, real estate and contract law matters, and ability to gain competence quickly in unfamiliar fields
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
• Ability to handle and manage multiple projects, to reprioritize and respond on a timely basis to urgent organization demands
• Must be detail-oriented and well organized; excellent written, listening, verbal, and interpersonal skills
• Strong MS Office Skills: including Word, Excel and Outlook is a must
• Must have a strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
