PharmPro Staffing is seeking a Staff Inpatient Pharmacist for our client in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Schedule

• Daytime Hours (8:00am-4:30pm) Monday through Friday
• Weekend Work is required on rotation (4) weeks in advance or between 7:00am-10:00pm (not every weekend or every other, it's a rotating 1x a month, with time off during the week)

Must Have the Following

• Registered Pharmacist in the State of Pennsylvania / Licensed in Good Standing
• 1-3 years of Inpatient Hospital Pharmacy Experience required
• Strong Communication Skills
• Pediatric Experience a PLUS not required

Job Details

• Reads and interprets written prescriber orders, and takes verbal modifications of such orders when necessary.
• Possesses working knowledge of Hospital and Pharmacy computer systems.
• Utilizes systems to process orders and provide safe pharmaceutical care.
• Effectively communicates orally and in writing with patients, fellow health care team members and other customers.
• Evaluates and monitors medication use to promote safe, rational and cost effective therapy.
• Dispenses medication and directly supervises and checks medication preparation by technician staff

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $54.00 - $56.00 per hour
