Registered Nurse - Med/Surg

Shift/Hours:

• Day shift: FT, 36 hrs/wk, 7:00 am - 7:00 pm
• Night shift: FT, 36 hrs/wk, 7:00 pm - 7:00 am

Holiday/Weekend Requirement:

• Holidays: Per department protocol
• Weekends: Weekends start at 7:00pm on Friday night until Monday 7 am. Requirements per department protocol

Must Haves:

• License: Current North Carolina RN License or Compact Licensure.
• Certification: BLS
• Experience: At least one year of hospital experience
• Education: Associate's Degree
• Preferred: Bachelors Degree preferred.

About the Unit:

• Number of Beds: 48 beds
• Patient Population: General medical unit.
• Common Diagnoses: Congestive heart failure, diabetes, dialysis, GI disease, heart disease.
• Nurse to Patient Ratio:
• Day Shift: 1:4-5
• Night Shift: 1:5-6, pending census and staffing
