Structural Design Engineer:

Gala & Associates is seeking a structural engineer to work with our team of Architectural / Engineering professionals to provide the technical, organizational, and communication skills to produce well-designed and coordinated documents for our Automotive and Heavy Industrial structural design projects.

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Design and perform calculations and /or analysis of structural steel and concrete facilities.
• Maintain and organize drawings, specifications, and construction documents.

• Communicate with other disciplines to ensure coordination of construction documents.
• Review shop drawing submittals.
• Maintain project documents - including project calculations, correspondence, reference materials, schedule, etc.
• Conduct site visits for field measuring and verification of existing conditions.
• Communicate scope changes to PM and project team.
• Perform related duties as required.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Master's degree preferred

EXPERIENCE:

• 3 + years of related experience in the structural engineering field focusing on Automotive and Industrial facility design.

SKILLS:

• Knowledge of structural computer programs - Revit a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
