At our Sweetgrass, MT Location, we are in need of part-time positions. Duty Free Americas, Inc. is a travel retailer offering our customers (traveling into Canada) top shelf liquors, international brand fragrances and quality gift items at Duty Free and/or significant price savings.

Position Objective

The Support Associate is responsible for the delivery of customer merchandise; inventory receiving, merchandising, pricing, loss prevention, store housekeeping, driving escort vehicles and adherence to Customs Regulations and all Company Policy/Store standards.

Position Responsibilities

• Handle inventory control which includes; receiving; unloading, unpacking and examination of incoming shipments, rejections of damaged items, record shortages, and corresponding with shipper/warehouse to rectify damages and shortages.

2. Ensure duty-free merchandise is delivered to the correct customers per Customs regulations.

3. Where applicable, operates Escort Vehicle and/or attends exit Booth to ensure export of purchased merchandise

4. Process and replenish merchandise by pulling correct product as needed, ensure proper shelf placement and shelf maintenance. Maintain visual standards, identifies SKU accuracy, and uses proper merchandise substitution procedure.

5. Perform floor moves, display maintenance and store housekeeping

• Ensure customers receive outstanding service by providing a friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer and handling inquires in a professional manner when on the sales floor.
• Performs other duties as required.

Essential Requirements

• Regular and reliable attendance. Flexibility and ability to work varied hours/days as business needs dictates.
• Ability to speak comprehensibly and hear effectively with customers, vendors and/or associates of the organization.
• Ability to read efficiently, perform basic mathematical functions (count, add, subtract, divide & multiply) and write to accurately complete work related documentation.
• Vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Physical demands include frequently standing for long periods of time; walking; ability to reach above or below shoulders, twist at the waist, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, climb and balance.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to twenty (20) pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to one hundred (100) pounds.
• Ability to operate and use equipment (manual) such as ladder, step stool, objects with wheels, spray bottles and other cleaning equipment necessary to perform job function.
• Ability to operate mechanical/electrical equipment used to perform the job functions

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

• No experience necessary, preferable experience in a retail customer service environment
• A valid non-restricted motor vehicle operator license
• High School Graduate, G.E.D. or equivalent work experience of one year
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Strong organizational skills along with excellent oral and written communication ability
