We are looking for a System Administrator to maintain, upgrade and manage our software, hardware and networks. Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role.

You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. You should have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users. Your goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Perform System Administrative duties for a Small-Medium Business
• Maintain operation of computer/technical systems including multi-user computer systems, a Transportation Management Suite, various trucking related technologies (ELD), and general maintenance of computer infrastructure
• Recommend and implement improvements to the technological aspects of business operations and provide insight into the technical aspects of operating a business in the 21st century
• Provide troubleshooting for Windows computers and associated business software

Skills:

• Strong interpersonal skills and capability of assisting individuals from a wide background
• Ability to multitask and successfully complete tasks/projects in parallel
• Drive to learn and continually develop skills
• Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Mastery in Microsoft Office Product
• Familiarity with Active Directory and Microsoft SQL
• Deep understanding of computer networking; DNS/DHCP, Network Security, and general best practices
• Familiarity with VOIP Services such as SIP Trunking and VLANs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
