Local boutique CPA Firm is seeking a full time, experienced, and professional Tax Senior / Tax Supervisor. This is a great opportunity to belong to an exceptionally successful full-service CPA and Consulting firm in the Beautiful Palm Desert / Rancho Mirage area.

The tax team prepares Federal and Multistate tax returns (C corporation, S corporation, trust, and estate, individual, nonprofit, corporate and partnership using ProSystems FX). As tax senior / tax supervisor you will have the opportunity to make an impact by:

• Developing a relationship with client personnel who are responsible for tax matters.
• Maintaining contact with client personnel responsible for tax matters throughout the year.
• Assist with annual 1099 prep and Business Property Tax Filings
• Identifying tax planning and consulting opportunities, especially during year-end planning.
• Communicating directly with clients and serving as the primary point of contact
• Proactively communicating with other staff on status of projects and assistance needed
• Bringing unusual or significant tax questions to the attention of the manager or partner.
• Being cognizant of time budgets, but not allowing time budgets to sacrifice the quality and/or efficiency.

Tax Senior / Supervisor Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA License strongly preferred
• Tax Preparation experience (4- 10 years preferred)
• Possess a broad tax knowledge and a basic knowledge if generally accepted accounting principles
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Have the ability to establish a rapport and good communication with clientele
• Experience with QuickBooks and Prosystems FX Tax preferred

Tax Senior / Supervisor Employee Pay and Benefits Package:

• Up to $20,000 sign on bonus (DOE)
• Generous starting salary based on experience, credentials, and future potential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $118,450.00 - $127,430.00 per year
