The Technical Support Specialist will interact with security sales and installation personnel via telephone and email to assist with specification, installation, operation, and troubleshooting of security hardware and software equipment. Duties:

  • Answers, processes, and documents incoming calls from technicians and customers.
  • Talk with end user through a series of actions, either via phone or email until they have solved a technical issue
  • Maintains effective call/ticket ownership by providing timely resolutions, maintaining contact on ongoing issues, and managing open items
  • Escalating to other team members, either a higher Tier specialist when necessary to resolve the issue.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of technical support experience
  • Experience with remote desktop
  • Experience with computer networking - IP Address, Ping, wireless access points, routers and switches
  • Ability to calmly and concisely communicate with customers
  • Experience with CCTV security video systems is a plus
  • Attention to detail and active listening skills
Salary: $50,000 - 55,000
