Job Description :

Program Overview: The JBBS program is focused on providing jail-based treatment and re-entry services. Groups are the primary treatment modality including evidence-based curriculums designed to address substance abuse and criminal conduct using a cognitive-behavioral framework. The program is intended to help move participants through the stages of change by educating them on substance abuse, asking them to critically analyze their thoughts, behaviors, and patterns, and by bringing more self-awareness to their lives. Clinicians and inmates discuss how relapse can be linked to recidivism and work on finding pro-social activities that clients can use to cope instead of using drugs or alcohol.
