Venue General Manager Responsibilities:
- Exceed the expectations of every customer every time
- Train, coach, and direct the team - set the bar high and never underdeliver
- Build respectful relationships with the team and the vendors while holding them accountable
- Remain hands-on and eyes-on at all times - run it as you own it
- Take initiative and respond to all opportunities to motivate and lead the team
- Control all costs and manage high standards of service while paying attention to every detail
- Work with the Facilities team to ensure a clean, well-maintained venue
Venue General Manager Qualifications:
- MUST be bilingual in English and Spanish - read, write, and understand fluently!
- NEW Venue or Restaurant Openings required
- At least 3 years of experience in a General Manager or AGM role of a high-volume, casual, or fast-casual establishment and/or Music Venue - is a HUGE plus!
- Strong and proven leadership qualities: outgoing, coach mentality, leads by example, upholds standards, clear and direct, communicator - must be the face of the place
- You thrive in a fast-paced business - experience with customer service and proactive problem solving
- You are a self-starter and have the aptitude to take direction from Owners/Directors
