Animal Medical Center San Rafael is looking for a highly motivated, hard-working individual to join our close-knit team as a veterinary receptionist/customer service representative. We are a fast-growing, full-service small animal practice located in Terra Linda.

What we’re looking for:

The ideal applicant will be reliable, eager to learn, and team-oriented, and should have an interest in career growth. We do not require any prior veterinary experience and are happy to train our employees on everything they are interested in learning. Experience in customer service is required, and experience with basic handling of dogs and cats is preferred. Applicants must have a reliable source of transportation. We have opportunities for part-time or full-time employment, and we highly prefer flexibility in scheduling, including working on the weekends.

Responsibilities include:
- Front office reception duties (phone calls, scheduling appointments, checking clients in/out, making sales, answering questions)
- Basic handling of cats and dogs
- Help with hospital cleaning and maintenance as needed
- Assisting doctors and other assistants as needed
- Carrying up to 50lbs

There will be opportunities for training in veterinary assistant duties if desired.
