DESCRIPTION: Description

We are currently hiring a Vice President of Product Management to lead our product department. You will be responsible for managing a team of product managers/owners, UI/UX professionals, and more! You will collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to strategically drive products forward with a focus on innovation and cutting-edge technology. Reporting to the COO, your role will include setting priorities, managing changing initiatives, driving realistic expectations, and elevating the team and products.

What youll do
  • Working directly with the CEO and COO, develop product strategies for multiple products
  • Lead the team in feature implementation and product updates
  • Manage vendor relationships for 3rd party tools and other strategic partnerships
  • Keep abreast of changes in the dating /e-commerce and social industries, and actively seek to improve our offerings.
  • Analyze and evaluate potential new product and feature ideas
  • Manage a team with various experience levels, mentoring product managers on various skills and professional development
  • Develop a strong understanding of employee needs, department requirements, customer desires, and business objectives.
  • Coordinate with development, customer service, and all relevant stakeholders to drive efficiency and correct usage of new and existing products by leveraging insights, generating new and creative ideas, and performing ongoing audits of current strategies and tactics.
  • Participate in company planning and setting business goals using the OKR methodology, leading the product initiatives
  • Collaborate with engineering, data, and other teams to own the product roadmap and manage the product development cycle, implementing criteria for success with a focus on data-driven decisions, and driving fast agile, high-quality releases.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Who you are
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Sociology, Psychology, or a relevant area of study
  • MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of Product Management Experience or equivalent
  • 5+ years of management experience
  • B2C experience is a plus
  • B2B experience will also be considered as we are always open to developing new products
  • Experience with growing seedling projects and advancing established brands to generate positive revenue results
  • Proven experience with product marketing plans, communication, and flawless execution
  • Ability to strategize, communicate, and prioritize quarterly tasks within a close-knit team setting.
  • Solid writing and presentation skills are a necessity
  • Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, etc.
