Job description

To provide a superior customer experience by being part of a team that fulfills customer orders in a high quality and expedient manner.

The position is a challenging varied role that requires a combination of computer administrative skills and physical abilities.

Candidate will be required to help with administration required to process orders and manage inventory along with physically shipping and receiving merchandise.

Primary duties and responsibilities

• To coordinate the shipping and receiving of products.
• To ensure that customer orders are shipped out and fulfilled in a timely manner.
• To process orders through our website.
• To print off necessary labels and paperwork.
• To receive shipments and to put products into inventory.
• To load and unload large shipments via forklift.
• To take products out of inventory and prepare for shipment.
• To palletize larger orders and build pallet "crates" to hold our products.
• To help to coordinate shipments with carriers such as UPS, FedEx and USPS.
• To coordinate with purchasing with vendors
• To use our inventory management software to process and manage operations
• To help with organization and the storage of inventory between multiple locations.
• To adhere to all policies and procedures and aid in developing and improving them.
• Project a professional company image to customers and vendors and uphold high service standards.
• To possess the flexibility to perform other job-related duties and responsibilities where needed as part of a small team.

Qualifications

• 2 year previous warehousing experience preferred

• Forklift experience preferred.
• Competent with computers.
• Must be physically fit and have the ability to repetitively lift, push and pull 50+ pounds, reach above head height, squat, kneel, bend and reach
• Must have the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Must have the ability to push and pull manual and powered material handling equipment (i.e., pallet jack, hand-truck etc.) containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance
• Must have the ability to repetitively grasp and manipulate objects of varying size and weight requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
• Must have the ability to read information in small, medium and large print
• Must have a valid drivers license.
