SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

Primarily responsible for receiving, sorting, storing, taking inventory, keeping records, and organizing for the issuing and receiving of merchandise stored in the warehouse as directed.

Essential Job Functions:

• Verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages
• Routing materials to prescribed storage locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods
• Rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials
• Examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage
• Removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment/use
• May operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

Applicant must have a valid driver’s license, working computer skills, and the ability to certify on and operate hand/power trucks.

SALARY/BENEFITS:

This is a full-time position with full benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and Disability. This is a Service Contract Act position and is subject to prevailing wage determination and applicable DOL regulations
