Job Description Summary

Primary Duty: The Website Content Coordinator is responsible for creating and managing content for the websites of the Branson Chamber, Explore Branson, and Taney County Partnership. Primary duties include managing various partner listings, data engine, photo and video placements, writing and updating editorial content and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of best practices for SEO performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Updates and writes new editorial content for all websites based on content recommendations given by Digital Agency partners.
  • Works with Digital Content Coordinator to manage photo and video elements throughout the sites to ensure seasonality and partner priorities are met.
  • Initiates content update strategies to increase KPI's on websites.
  • Assists community partners in maintaining updated information on their listings across the sites.
  • Assists in maintaining updated content on the SkyNav Virtual tour platform.

Other Important Functions:

  • Attends workshops, seminars, and conferences for professional development as necessary.
  • Attends and/or participates in company training.
  • Actively looks for improvements in company systems.
  • Performs related administrative work as required.

Required Experience/Skills:

  • Minimum of one year's experience in digital marketing or a related field preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Branson area.
  • Ability to communicate in a professional and engaging manner via blog posts and website copy.
  • Familiarity with trends in recreation and tourism.
  • Strong writing skills to support an engaging website presence.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a friendly and efficient manner with customers, vendors, TPAs, employees and other company contacts.
  • Ability to effectively welcome and embrace differences among employees, customers, members, vendors and the community.
  • Must be able to clearly speak, read, and write in the English language.

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability when needed

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $37,000.00 per year
