This incumbent will act as the primary Windows System Administration contact for the IT department. They will be responsible to apply patches to workstations and servers, maintain a secure operating environment for all Stratacache users. They will also be responsible for applications to manage the environment such as Endpoint Central and other Windows-centric tools.

Core Responsibilities:

• Apply patches to major subsystems and services, roles, and filesystem components within STRATACACHE's Windows Systems environment and perform operating system and patch testing on all changes prior to installation.
• Active Directory on-prem experience, be main POC for all Windows-related issues (a separate level 1 team triages issues and tickets)
• Build upon and manage Endpoint Central environment and be primary POC for all Windows questions
• Create and maintain technical documentation for STRATACACHE's Windows environment including servers, workstations, anti-virus/malware, patching, GPOs, and other Windows-related activities
• Develop, in conjunction with the Linux System Administration team, a comprehensive system monitoring and alerting platform to provide warnings to Administrators of system issues
• Perform other duties as requested.

Basic & Preferred Qualifications:

• A High School Diploma is required; 4 year degree or equivalent professional, directly relevant work experience
• Minimum 3 years of relevant Windows Server experience in an on-prem environment
• Minimum 1 of experience leveraging and administering GPOs in an Active Directory environment.
• Experience creating and implementing PowerShell scripts to automate tasks
• Strong knowledge of email and collaboration concepts using Exchange
• Understand system access control and security aspects of critical systems
• Experience applying industry standards and best practices in a growing environment with security as a top priority
