Job Description :

Concord Coach Lines is seeking an experienced full-time Accounting Manager to join its growing accounting team in the Concord, NH Corporate Office. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day to day, weekly and monthly functions of the accounting department including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and fleet financial management for Concord Coach Lines and three of its affiliated entities.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Drive and manage the entire accounting close process including journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and maintaining compliance of various corporate compliance requirements (i.e. fleet/fuel reporting)
  • Constantly be evaluating current processes and procedures and initiate actions for improvements
  • Work closely with outside CPA firm for year-end financial statement audits, reviews and tax preparation for all companies
  • Assist the Controller with various cash management tasks as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • CPA or public accounting experience of 3-5 years
  • A minimum of 2 years of private industry accounting experience including financial management and supervision
  • Ability to work in a dynamic accounting department, successfully juggling daily responsibilities, projects and deliverables
  • Very strong computer skills with a particular high level of proficiency in Excel
  • Experience with Microsoft Great Plains accounting software
  • Ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels and in many different departments and locations
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Be a team player who helps make other people’s jobs easier and finds ways to advocate what’s best for the business and the work
  • Be motivated and consistently seeking opportunities to improve or implement processes that will support and streamline our accounting practice and growing companies

Pay: Compensation starting at $65k+
