Job Description :

Responsibilities

  • Create detailed drawings of concept designs.
  • Maintain product documentation, technical drawings, bills of material, product manuals, and Engineering Change Requests (ECR).
  • Generate basic Engineering Change Requests (ECR).
  • Complete final steps in Engineering ECR/Deviation process.
  • Create basic package studies for existing suspensions.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams for the associated product lines.
  • Assist lead engineers on projects as directed by management.
  • Interface effectively with senior designers, engineers, manufacturing, quality, customer service and sales.
  • Assist in the installation, testing, tuning, and evaluating product on new vehicle applications.

Job Requirements

  • Function in a team environment, ability to work with others and provide insight into solving problems.
  • Ability to interpret standards, specifications, procedures, drawings, etc.
  • Knowledge of engineering fundamentals in Automotive industry.
  • Basic understanding of automotive chassis systems with emphasis on suspension systems.
  • Be detail-oriented and have excellent follow-through skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to function in a deadline driven environment.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and verification of employment authorization will be required at the time of hire.

Minimum Education and Experience Required

  • Associate Degree, or higher, in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Design Technology
  • 0-2 years of work experience
  • Work/Classroom experience with SolidWorks software.
  • Work/Classroom experience with Microsoft Windows OS and Office software.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Automotive mechanical experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
