Position Overview
In collaboration with the Digital Marketing Director, the Digital Marketing Strategist uses digital marketing, promotional and creative strategy, paired with web technologies to achieve our business growth goals. The Digital Marketing Strategist also identifies needs and new opportunities and effectively connects our brand with our digital audiences. The Digital Marketing Specialist is expected to uphold the highest ethical standards.
Essential Functions
- Assist in the planning and execution of Landmark’s in-house digital marketing strategy.
- Hands-on execution and optimization of digital campaigns across various platforms (Meta, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, YouTube, etc.).
- Assist in the modification and maintenance of our auto dealership websites
- Collaborate on digital marketing strategies using all necessary tools (paid & organic campaigns, websites, landing pages, search, email, social media, etc.).
- Optimize keyword lists to create a comprehensive campaign that drives qualified visitors to our websites
- Monitor, track, and report on digital KPIs
- Work with the Digital Marketing Director to analyze and assess the performance of campaigns to ensure we are exceeding monthly performance goals
- Implement successful ad bidding strategies and budget management
- Conduct monthly analysis of all digital media performance and prepare recommendations for upcoming months
- Monitor and update Google Business Profiles and Bing Places for each dealership departments and entities
- Social media profile management and posting strategy
- Conduct thorough reviews of campaign setup, following quality assurance processes to ensure all details are accurate (error rate of less than 1%)
- Ensure proper ad goals and conversions are set-up and functioning properly during campaign cycles
- Work effectively with creative agencies to ensure assets are accurate, on-time, compliant, and without errors
- Monitor campaign delivery, and adjust to accurately and evenly pace with advertising budgets
- Plan and implement OEM-themed ad campaigns
- Organize OEM creative assets and keep them up to date
- Use industry knowledge and KPIs to proactively suggest optimization strategies & new digital campaigns
- Collaborate with sales and service departments and external vendors
- Stay up to date with the latest digital marketing trends, best practices, and technology
- Adhere to digital marketing compliance regulations
- Submit co-op documents to OEM for approval
Skills
- Excellent knowledge of Google Ads and Meta Ads
- Hands-on experience and deep knowledge of Google Analytics
- Knowledge of SEO strategies
- Familiarity with Meta Business Manager
- Ability to simultaneously manage a variety of diverse digital projects
- Experience with call-tracking platforms
- Automotive advertising experience a BIG PLUS
- Seeks self-development tasks; asks for help when needed
- Proficiency with Google Suite, Google Docs, and other basic online applications
- Experience editing and updating automotive websites a plus
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Sufficient in producing well-thought-out ad copy with attention to detail
- Self-motivated and goal-orientated
- Prior agency experience a plus
- Experience with SEMRush a plus
- Experience with automotive CRM a plus
- Meta Blueprint Certified
