Job Description :
- Provide FGF users with various IT support issues/resolutions
- Install, configure and upgrade: Personal computers (desktops, laptops and tablets), thin clients and related peripherals (Operating systems including Windows 8,10, IOS)
- MS Office suit- 2016, O365, One Drive
- Provide support and answers to queries on-site, via Skype/Teams or remotely
- Assist with different tasks related to hardware and software setup for new hires and existing employees
- Perform backup and recovery duties
- Troubleshoot hardware and software related problems for end users
- Device lifecycle and upgrade
- Proving support for hand held devices used by Independent Drivers in the field
- Responsible for maintain own queue , updating and resolving tickets, , meeting or exceeding the team committed SLAs,
- On-call rotation may be required
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Successful completion of Post Secondary Diploma in Computer Science or Information Systems or recognized equivalent
- Demonstrated knowledge of Windows 7, 8 and 10 , O365, Skype for business, installation, configuration and maintenance and other major applications
- Demonstrated knowledge of personal computer hardware installation and configuration
- Demonstrated knowledge of thin clients hardware installation and configuration
- Demonstrated knowledge of smart phone hardware and configuration
- Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office applications (Word & Excel)
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft cloud (O365, OneDrive Microsoft Azure/Skype for Business)
- Ethernet network topology experience and TCP/IP proficiency an asset
- In depth understanding of Active Directory Infrastructure
- Working knowledge: SCCM application packaging , device imaging and patching,
- Microsoft Certification (MCP, MCSA,) is an asset
- Knowledge of various software applications
