Occupational Therapist - Outpatient -Full Time
Lakeway, Texas / Float
Ortho/CHT/Neuro
Clinic hours M-F 7-6pm
We are looking for a fulltime occupational therapist to join our clinical team consisting of 5 fulltime occupational therapist of which 3 are CHTs. This position is a float/split position so coverage at multiple clinics will be required as we continue to grow our program. We currently provide occupational therapy services in the following locations: Lakeway, SW 290, W. 38th street, South Lamar, Onion Creek, Kyle Parkway, and San Marcos. The ideal candidate would need to have experience of >2 years in orthopedics or CHT credentialed as well as some experience with neurological conditions preferred. Select Medical/Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation complies with state and federal wage and hour laws. Compensation depends upon candidate’s years of experience and internal equity. Starting salary: $72,800.
As a Therapist at one of our Outpatient Rehabilitation Facilities, you will work with a team of clinicians. Together we will help our patients achieve outlined goals and milestones on their individual patient care plan.
- Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
- Patient Case Load Average: 10-12 patients a day
- Timely and accurate documentation using Therapy Source
- Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data including medical notes and surgery reports
- Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
- Promoting continuous quality improvement
- Instructing and counseling patients/families as needed

Responsibilities include:

Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment or as required by state regulations
