  • Reports To: Director, Marketing and Communications

The Patron Services Manager (PSM) is responsible for coordinating all areas of communication and customer service relating to the performance and special events components of Lake Dillon Theatre Company (LDTC) programming. The PSM will provide customer service functions for all season subscribers, individual ticket buyers, and patrons attending public, private, or other free community special events. Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing & Communications, the PSM will partner closely with marketing and development to ensure alignment on patron services strategy and operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • In collaboration with management team, develop measurable strategic goals pertaining to LDTC revenue streams, including individual, group and destination group ticket sales
  • Manage patrons services software and database, including the creation and maintenance of show events online, ensuring information is accurate and up to date
  • Oversee the LDTC box office, box office applications on the LDTC website, implementation and coordination of ticketing systems, Will Call, and provide general assistance to patrons
  • Manage front of house duties for performances, including ticket sales, concessions/bar staff, and any other operations/transactions on most performance evenings
  • Coordinate with Stage Manager regarding status of pre-show activities, patron seating, and show start
  • Collaborate with the management team on LDTC front of house procedures. Coordination and implementation of systems and procedures including working with all LDTC staff on shifts and expectations.
  • Coordination of all concessions operations, including inventory oversight and ordering, staff scheduling & management, and payroll activities.
  • Ensure tidiness of all public facing areas, including theater lobby and bar/concession areas, and monitor cleanliness/product stock in facilities.
  • Coordinate and implement all volunteer activities, including volunteer theatre ushers, community outreach volunteers, and other volunteer programs in support of production, marketing, development and administration
  • Work with community groups on patron services and groups sales efforts, advertise group sales initiatives for local and destination target audiences, and collaborate with TOS and other community groups on event operations
  • Partner with the development and marketing teams to provide ongoing communications with patrons and community members. Support communication for all development, education, and production events for patrons Special Events.

Qualifications/Required Skills:

  • Minimum 2 years of customer service experience, preferrably in a similar industry (venue/events management).
  • Proven experience leading a team preferred.
  • Experience working on software programs including content management systems/ticketing/event softwares preferred.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and be a team player with excellent time management and people management skills.
  • Written and oral presentation skills a plus.
  • Intermediate computer skills in PC and/or MAC systems.
  • Knowledge of web and social media outlets.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
