Proliance Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine is an established premier group of orthopaedic surgeons with locations in Bellevue, Issaquah, and Redmond that specialize in the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of general orthopaedic conditions and sports injuries, in addition to conditions requiring more specialty-focused care. Our Care centers include Proliance Highlands Surgery Center, 3 Orthopaedic clinic site locations: Redmond, Issaquah and Bellevue, 2 Advanced Imaging Centers as well as two physical and occupational therapy centers.

Position Summary

This Full Time Revenue Cycle Specialist is for our Issaquah location, supporting our ASC, Clinics, PT/OT and Advanced Imaging Centers. Our Revenue Cycle Specialists work independently as well as team members within our revenue cycle department as either Insurance and/or Patient Accounts Representatives.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Research denied, delayed and underpaid claims
• Initiates appeals as necessary
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve unpaid claims
• Follows up on payment errors and low reimbursements
• Navigate online payer portals for claims status and appeal submission
• Reviews explanation of benefits (EOBs) to ensure proper reimbursement of claims and reports any problems, issues or payer trends
• Works collaboratively with management to reduce aging of accounts by providing verbal and written communication
• Maintains HIPAA patient confidentiality standards for medical and financial information
• Customer service- Multi line billing inquiries
• Other billing duties as assigned

Essential Qualities

• Ability to work in high volume environment

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Ability to be well organized, detail oriented in a fast paced environment

Education/Experience

• Minimum three year’s physician billing and collections experience required
• Next Gen experience is preferred
• Waystar experience is preferred
• Working knowledge of Insurance Carrier Portals
• Working knowledge of medical terminology, abbreviations and anatomy

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
