Helix Sun is a leading residential and commercial solar development company. We are looking to expand our team of Energy Advisors in the Houston market with someone whose values match our own, and who is not afraid of a challenge. As an energy advisor, you will be the face of our company to all the prospective homeowners you meet with and will be responsible for providing each one of them with superior educational, analytical and after-sales services. For those interested, to ensure your success you will need to have passion for the solar industry, excellent interpersonal skills, a competitive edge, the ability to build good customer rapport, and understand how to scale in a 100% commission position.

Responsibilities:

• Meeting with prospective homeowners during scheduled in-home and virtual appointment times set by our call center
• Educate the customer on their current energy habits and the different solutions that we provide.
• Identify and analyze the needs of the home to meet optimal energy efficiency.
• Produce a customized solar system design and prepare system quotes for the customer's home.
• Conduct credit checks for financing approval and complete contractual agreements prior to concluding an appointment.
• Provide after-sales services, including but not limited to; courtesy follow-up calls and on-site visits.
• Ensure that superior customer service is at the forefront of the sales approach.
• Maintain excellent communication with all entities throughout the sales process to guarantee smooth transitions from start to finish.

Requirements:

• Prior solar and/or in-home sales experience (1+ year required)
• Reliable Transportation (required)
• Experience with 100% commission position (preferred)
• Bilingual (preferred but not required)
• Excellent time management skills and appointment punctuality
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Coachable mentality

What We Offer:

• Paid Training and a top tier commission structure that is paid out bi-weekly. Pre-set appointments booked for you by our call center team along with company gear. Bonus commission for self generated business. Room for advancement and upward mobility as we grow!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
