Daily you will be expected to maintain all plant and rolling stock equipment, execute preventative and predictive maintenance programs, ensure overall equipment reliability, and troubleshoot equipment related issues safely and successfully.
Our plants have production lines that color and bag two distinct types of recycled rubber mulch in many colors. Our rubber mulch products are used in playgrounds as a safety surface and in landscapes as an alternative to wood mulch.
Our Expectations:
· Successfully maintains and ensures reliability of all plant and rolling stock equipment
· Effectively troubleshoots mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic power equipment issues
· Schedules work to be performed based on routine preventive maintenance inspections
· Executes preventative and predictive maintenance programs
· Ensures equipment is capable of meeting expected production throughput rates and quality specifications
· Seeks ways to improve equipment productivity and efficiency: yield, rate, and uptime.
· Maintains records of all preventive and corrective maintenance performed and assures proper data entry into maintenance system
· Procures parts necessary to complete repairs within assigned limits. Refers larger purchases or major repairs to Plant Manager
· Assists with ordering, verification, and inventory of parts
· Notifies Plant Manager of any issues or problems
· Maintains a safe and productive work environment and follows all safety policies and procedures
· Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Your Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or GED is required.
· A minimum of 3-5 years' experience performing mechanical and electrical maintenance in a manufacturing /industrial environment is required.
· Ability to effectively communicate with all employees in the facility, both verbally and in writing
· Knowledge of machinery and tools used, including welding equipment and electrical work
· Working knowledge and experience with a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) system
· Ability to manage projects and solve problems in a timely, professional manner
· Ability to multi-task, prioritize and respond with appropriate sense of urgency
· Excellent detail, organizational and follow-through skills
· Understanding of OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations and implementation of safety regulations
· Strong willingness to work hard, reliable, attentive and attention to detail
· Ability to stand and move around for extended periods of time
· Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs., required
