Our client is adding an Accountant to its accounting department. As the Accountant reporting to the Controller, your responsibilities will include

• Providing management with financial information by researching and analyzing accounts and preparing financial statements
• Assisting with month-end closing procedures
• Tracking and collections of accounts receivable
• Prepares financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from QuickBooks accounting system
• Provides accounting support to Controller by reviewing financial information, preparing financial statements, and assisting with month-end closings

Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in accounting required
• Minimum of 2 years of applicable accounting experience
• Solid G/L accounting background
• Proven knowledge of QuickBooks
• Skilled at creating, tracking, and maintaining financial reports
• Understanding of accounting codes and balance sheet accounts
• Proficiency in creating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to spot any abnormalities
• Must be deadline-oriented
• Attention to detail, confidentiality, and excellent communication skills a must
