Accounting Manager Responsibilities:

• Manage a ten-person, remote accounting team.
• Provide mentoring and leadership to attract, develop and retain talent. Coach and build team, support professional development, review and assess performance and enable employees to maximize their performance.
• Prepare year-end audit work papers in accordance with internal and external audit requirements.
• Manage the monthly and yearly close process, maintain close calendars and approve monthly journal entries as required.
• Recommend and facilitate the implementation of continuous improvement around processes, system enhancements, and reporting capabilities.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• Bachelor's in accounting or related field. CPA a plus
• 5+ years of accounting experience is required. 2+ years of direct report experience
• Driven to improve processes, excited to streamline
• Excellent communication skills.

Salary Range: $115,000 to $130,000 + Bonus and Strong Benefits Package
