Join our dynamic and innovative IT team in this exciting role as an IT Application Development Leader!

The IT Application Development Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the Inclusa software development lifecycle including vision, strategy, analysis, architecture, design, coding, and testing in 100% cloud environment. This role ensures that timely, technically appropriate, quality solutions are provided to meet the needs of their customers. Most importantly, you'll be coaching, developing and leading a remote team of software development professionals.

**This is a remote position located within the State of WI (within driving distance to one of our 30+ offices statewide).

What will I be doing in this role?

  • Manage all aspects of the Inclusa software development lifecycle including analysis, architecture, design, coding, and testing.
  • Design architecture in accordance with best practices.
  • Contribute to production ready and testable code as needed.
  • Ensure applications meet Inclusa’s security and performance standards.
  • Develop and manage a software product roadmap and associated backlog in Azure DevOps
  • Collaborate with IT leadership in strategic planning & feature prioritization of multi-year initiatives.
  • Coach, mentor, and lead an Application Development team.
  • Foster a collaborative, fun, and dynamic team culture.

What do I need to be successful in this role?

  • 6+ years professional software development experience.
  • Demonstrated team leadership and management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Excellent communication, customer service, project management, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build, inspire, and lead a high performing team of software engineers in a remote work model
  • Proficient at explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical colleagues, leaders and executives
  • Proficient with:
    • Visual Studio, .NET Framework, and .NET Core
    • Architecture/Design patterns such as MVC (Model View Controller)
    • Microsoft SQL Server/T-SQL
    • Source control, and branching strategies
  • Additional valuable experience:
    • Development and configuration of Dynamics 365 CE or other CRM (Customer Relationship Management) platforms
    • Develpment utilizing Microsoft Azure
    • Azure DevOps
    • CI/CD and automation experience
    • JavaScript
    • Sitefinity CMS (Content Management System)
