Palatial Concrete is a commercial concrete construction company seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager for its Jersey City high rise projects.
Primary Requirements and Responsibilities:
-Education in Architecture, Engineering, or Management.
-Experienced in concrete construction job sites.
-Ability to read and understand drawings and specs.
-Engineering related Computer skills i.e. Excel, Material Takeoff, and AutoCAD
-Fluent English Communication to negotiate buyouts with suppliers and vendors.
-Document and track project schedule.
-Prepare and submit all project submittals, design mixes, shop drawings as required for approvals.
-Communicate with general contractor and all field personnel.
-Prepare RFI, change orders, etc.
-Manage all material orders and deliveries.
-Monitor overall safety and quality issues on the project, consistent with company policies and practices.
-Attend weekly jobsite meetings.
-Advanced knowledge of safety and relevant OSHA requirements.
