Job Description :

JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for the management and fulfillment of new system orders including consignments. Oversee the order release process to ensure compliance with Nikon policies including oversite for cost sheet completion. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these areas. Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with organization’s policies, procedures, and US laws and regulations.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Responsible for the end to end process for new systems
  • Responsible for new system inventory management including consignments held in Nikon showrooms, sales people and external business partners.
  • Manage the monthly inventory consignment reporting
  • Fosters strong and collaborative relationships with Nikon Metrology employees in the US and EU to maximize revenue.
  • Proactively drives improved customer satisfaction through open communication with both
  • internal and external customers
  • Develops goals and metrics to achieve assigned or identified goals.
  • Responsible for revenue forecasts using ERP and other reporting tools.
  • Lead the weekly production meeting
  • Oversees the vendor setup process
  • Establishes performance requirements, clarifies responsibilities of those supervised, conducts performance appraisals and plans for individual employee improvement.
  • Engages team to ensure a high level of associate involvement and continually looks for ways to develop team and self.
  • Evaluates training needs and trains personnel within department.
  • Oversees revenue recognition and cost of sales bookings
  • Supports and drives ongoing change within the organization
  • Ensure communication lines are open between Order Entry, Order Fulfillment, and Distribution to attain maximum efficiency.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

ANCILLARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and update department procedures.
  • Develop and cross train team members.
  • Recommend system improvements in both function and reporting.
  • Collaborate with the Laser Radar Factory
  • Support internal and external audit projects
  • Develop and maintain efficient consignment and demo product procedures.
  • Monthly reporting

QUALIFICATIONS

ESSENTIAL

  • BA/BS degree (or equivalent)
  • 5-7+ years of Operations / Revenue Experience
  • Excellent knowledge of customs and compliance
  • Proven ability to work with all levels of management and foster relationships with personnel
  • Proven experience supporting growth through transparency, consistency, and disciplined execution
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and organize workload to meet organizational timelines in a fast paced, very high-growth environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

DESIRABLE

  • Working knowledge of Navision Database operations
  • Proficient with Excel
