All Safe Global (“ASG”) is a highly profitable, rapidly growing company serving the compressed gas industry. The company is guided by the principles of winning-with-integrity, performance, value-creation, and customer satisfaction.

The e-Commerce Manager position will be part of the senior leadership team at ASG. The role has full P&L responsibility for a division with revenue between $6.0MM and $8.0MM with double digit growth potential. We are looking for a driven e-Commerce professional who knows how to grow profitable online sales that are aligned with overall business objectives.

The right candidate will have experience managing a small team and will have an entrepreneurial flare with interest in growing our B2B and DTC online sales of compressed gas equipment.

Responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, managing multiple streams of online sales including the company’s branded websites such as gascylindersource.com, Google Merchant Feed, eBay and Amazon sales.

The primary objective for the role is to aggressively, and profitably, grow product sales while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Core responsibilities include website management, optimizing customer experience, creating product listings, review of competitive landscape, pricing adjustments, management of customer service and technical back-office staff, giving presentations to executive management, and managing customer inquiries.

Compressed gas industry or industrial product sales knowledge not required but useful. Strong e-Commerce experience is a must.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The e-Commerce Manager is responsible for all the following duties which are performed personally:

  • · Meeting profitability and revenue goals for the online sales group
  • · Regular reporting on website performance and customer experience metrics to optimize site operations
  • · Identify and present new online business opportunities and suggesting strategies to achieve sales growth
  • · Oversee and execute website and advertising AB tests to improve KPIs, revenue, and overall customer experience
  • · Manage outside resources including agency relationships for PPC, affiliate marketing and SEO provider
  • · Manage online listings including, content, images, keywords, tech specs and tags
  • · Guiding customer support in answering inquiries and addressing sales opportunities
  • · Maintain regular contact with existing customers through e-marketing channels including social media, websites and email
  • · Manage paid digital marketing campaigns through AMS, Google, Facebook and all e-Commerce platforms
  • · Generating sales quotes for larger inquiries
  • · Creating & maintaining attractive listings with concise copy for new products in different marketplaces.
  • · Produce creative and content for ecommerce advertising campaigns and plan marketing calendar
  • · Manage e-mail lists for marketing
  • · Monitoring of competition and price positioning in the market
  • · Develop and maintain working knowledge of product offerings
  • · Supervising a small team including inside sales CSR(s), outside consultants, etc.
  • · Regularly report progress with Director of Marketing to CEO and senior executive team
  • · Manage paid digital marketing campaigns through AMS, Google, Facebook, and all eCommerce platforms
  • · Review and interpret Google analytics data
  • · Determine product lists for photoshoots to be used with online listings
  • · Maintain online storefronts, API connections and inventory data feeds
  • · Other duties may be assigned

· Willingness to travel occasionally (1 to 3 times per year, limited overnight travel for conferences)

Education and Experience

· Three or more years of experience in online marketing and product sales management

· Experience with industrial products is desirable but not required

· Experience with ACT (or other CRM tool)

· Strong Excel skills and experience with advanced reporting

· Post-secondary education desirable. Ideally a four-year degree or MBA in business or marketing with an emphasis on digital sales.

· Experience with WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify or Big Commerce desirable

· Google Product Feed and AdWords experience highly desirable

· Knowledge of website design, speed optimization, A/B testing, conversion management, customer sales journey optimization, traffic analysis and online reporting tools

Language and Communication Skills

· Ability to read and interpret customer communications, profit and sales reports, and common documents;

· Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers, or members of the business community;

· Ability to develop sales presentations via phone or in person that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to customers, top management and peers.

Reasoning Ability & Mathematical Skills

Ability to apply technical and advanced business mathematical techniques for conveying product knowledge, pricing, sales opportunities and business presentations. Must be able to focus and concentrate intently on complex problems and subjects for extended periods of time. Ability to define complex problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions, data and communication streams.
