Straine Dental Consulting has been a leader in dental practice performance management for more than two decades. We manage dental practices all across the country with a team of consultants and coaches. We are growing our financial services for the dental practices we manage.

Straine Dental Consulting is looking for a Finance Project Manager to develop accounting policies and oversee all financial procedures of our dental practices. As a Finance Project Manager, you’ll monitor the practices' financial status daily, review quarterly and annual budgets and manage accounting transactions.

To be successful in this role, you should have in-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and experience with risk management. Ultimately, you'll make sure we comply with accounting regulations, maximize profits and mitigate risks.

Overview:

• Understand and approve final revenue and collection goals for each dental practice with input from CEO and CFO
• Approve overhead and EBITDA budget
• Monitor the attainment on a monthly basis by review of FS prepared by outside bookkeeper

Responsibilities:

• Perform month-end analytics and close activities, including accruals, reconciliations, P/L data refreshes and variance explanations, and associated data entry
• Precisely enter data from accounting documents and review, balance, and post-transaction batches
• Enforce accountability as an onsite resource to ensure internal controls are in place for compliance with policies, procedures, and guidelines
• Ensure all payments are completed on time (including accounts payable and bank deposits)
• Set and track financial KPIs
• Build risk assessment models to evaluate investments
• Report on financial status on a regular basis and create ad-hoc reports when needed
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems
• Perform internal audits and assist with external audits
