SUMMARY:

At Tyson Foods, a Finance Analyst is an entry level position that will report to a Finance Manager or Sr Manager and is a key partner to Business Unit, Supply Chain, and Management teams to provide critical analytical support, process oversight, and reporting. These positions are key members of the cross functional team and will apply his/her financial and business acumen to drive profitable growth initiatives.

The Finance Analyst role will partner with management and staff to effectively plan, forecast, and monitor expenses for the organization and other functional groups. The Finance Analyst role will highlight key trends and issues and make recommendations to the leadership team and contribute to the preparation and analysis of the monthly forecast, estimate quarterly projection, annual operating plan, and long-range plan. Successful candidates will own the reporting and analysis activity assigned by the manager to contribute to effective decision-making by the business and track financial results of the business. The Finance Analyst role will perform P&L reporting, execute financial analyses in support of the business, perform various activities as part of the close forecasting annual planning, deliver timely and accurate financial reporting to support the business, and support with any other duties assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting.

Experience: 1- 3 years experience in Finance, or applicable education/degree. Previous CPG experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated success in roles requiring strong analytical and systems skills. Must possess strong prioritization and organizational skills.

Communication Skills: Good interpersonal and communication skills required including the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners and leader.
