Locally owned small business seeks additional team member.

The Pedestrian Shops is a family owned and operated business selling comfortable footwear and accessories. We're seeking an experienced, responsible salesperson who enjoys working with people and being part of a team. This position will include assisting customers, ringing up sales, stock work, light cleaning, and merchandising. We pride ourselves in providing a high-information, low-pressure sales environment - so the desire to learn about the shoes and brands that we carry and then share that knowledge with customers is a must!

We are interested in candidates who:

• Have 1+ years of related retail sales experience (shoe sales experience preferred, but apparel, outdoor, and related categories will be considered)
• Can be available for 3-5 shifts per week (full, 8 hour shifts) including at least one weekend day per week
• Are friendly, hardworking, and courteous
• Want to assist customers and sell comfortable footwear and accessories

Previous retail sales associate, sales representative, sales assistant experience preferred.
